Dairy Cow isopods are chunky, eye-catching isopods with bold black and white spotting – just like their namesake. They are fast-breeding, active, and make a fantastic addition to larger enclosures where they have room to roam.

Behavior & Appearance:

Dairy Cows are confident and often visible, exploring and feeding in groups. Their high contrast pattern makes them stand out in almost any setup, and they reproduce readily under good conditions.

Feeding: 

Offer a mix of high-quality isopod diet, fish or shrimp pellets, vegetables (squash, sweet potato, carrot), and plenty of decaying leaves and wood. Provide a constant calcium source such as cuttlebone, cleaned and baked eggshell, or our CalciStone pieces.
