All animals at Tiny Green Tails, LLC are:

  • Properly housed in species-appropriate environments
  • Provided with appropriate temperature, humidity, ventilation, and substrate
  • Fed nutritionally appropriate diets
  • Monitored regularly for health, behavior, and overall condition

We do not knowingly sell unhealthy or compromised animals.

Ethical Breeding Practices

We are committed to:

  • Responsible population management
  • Avoiding overbreeding or overcrowding
  • Selecting breeding stock based on health, longevity, and temperament

Animals are allowed adequate time to grow, recover, and thrive before being offered for sale.

Shipping & Handling Safety

Live animals are packed with care using methods designed to minimize stress and ensure safe arrival, including:

  • Secure containers appropriate for the species
  • Insulation when needed
  • Heat or cold packs when conditions require
  • Shipping schedules designed to avoid unnecessary delays

We may delay shipping if conditions are unsafe. This decision is always made in the best interest of the animal.

Weather & Environmental Protection

Extreme temperatures can be dangerous for live animals.

For this reason:

  • We may place weather holds on orders
  • We may require Hold for Pickup
  • We may refuse shipment if conditions are unsafe

Requests to ship against our safety recommendations may void the Live Arrival Guarantee.

Customer Responsibility After Arrival

Once animals arrive safely, their ongoing welfare becomes the responsibility of the customer.

Customers are expected to:

  • Research proper care before purchasing
  • Provide appropriate housing and environmental conditions
  • Acclimate animals properly after arrival
  • Monitor animals closely during the first 24–72 hours

We strongly encourage customers to contact us with questions before ordering to ensure the species is a good fit.

Our Right to Refuse Sale

  • Refuse or cancel orders if we believe an animal’s welfare may be at risk
  • Limit quantities or species per order when appropriate
  • Decline shipment during unsafe conditions

These decisions are made solely to protect animal health and welfare.
